The webshop is a tiny shop featuring illustrated and printed goods created with love by illustrator Esther Aarts. Most prints are limited edition, created with small press techniques like Riso, screenprint and letterpress and mostly printed locally. The shop is located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal (all of which are processed through the Paypal interface). You do not need to sign up for a Paypal account to pay with your credit card.
We ship worldwide. Shipping prices will vary with item size, amount of items and destination.
We currently fill and ship orders twice a week. Your order ships from the Netherlands. Arrival times vary by destination. (Shipping to countries in the Euro zone typically takes up to 1 or 2 weeks. Shipping to USA or worldwide normally takes up to 3 to 4 weeks. In some cases your country will route parcels through customs; this may delay transit times to up to 8 weeks.)
Greeting cards and smaller size orders will be shipped in a cardboard envelope by TNT mail.
Large porsters may be shipped in a heavy duty mailing tube. International orders ship via Air Mail.
Tracked shipping is available upon request for orders with large amounts of items.
Several items in the store are printed as a limited edition. These items may sell out. For popular items we may arrange a second print run. Reprints may feature a different colourway or sizing. Send us a note if you’re especially in love with an item that is no longer available and we will notify you if it restocks.
We pack our prints with care, doing our best to ensure that they will arrive in good condition. However, in rare occasions transit loss or damage may occur.
If you’re unhappy with your order for any reason, please simply return the item in its original packaging (within 10 days of order arrival) and email us with a picture/description of the issue and we will arrange a replacement or refund for you.
Prints and posters will live a lot longer if you display them away from direct sunlight.
Framing your prints helps keeping them in good condition. If you’re in search of a budget solution you may consider just using bulldog clips and finishing nails.
Alternatively, you could repurpose trouser hangers like I did for some items in the shop.
For print production we work mostly with small local printing houses like Knust, who have more than 25 years of Risograph printing experience and know their machines inside out. Riso prints are known for their vibrant, layered colours generated by water based inks on absorbent paper stock.
Owing to the process, each print is unique; and so they may exhibit some degree of variation.
Marvelous! Yes, some of our items are available wholesale. Some items are less suited for wholesale due to their small print runs. The best way to get more information about that is to send an email with your details and a short description of the sort items and amounts you have in mind.
